In the Name of God Amen The 21th day of August In the tenth year of the Raign of his Majesty King William The third of England Scotlande France and Ireland defender of the faith &c Annoq Domini 1699 I Mary Needham of Saxelby In the County of Leicester Widdow being Weake in Body but of sounde and perfect memory Praised be God for the same doe make this my last will and Testament in Manner and forme following That is to say

First I comende my soul to Allmighty God my Creator and redeemer hoping through the Merritts of Jesus Christe my alone Saviour to be made pertaker of Life everlasting and as for my Body I committ to the earth to be buried in such decent and Christian Manner as my Executer here after named shall think meet and Convenient

And as for my Goods Chattills and Worldly Estate which it Hath Pleased God to Bless me with I dispose the same as followeth

Imprimis I give to my Loving Daughter Ann Cant one Shill and My Sonne Matthew Cant one Shill and to my Sonne Wm Cant one Shill and to my Son Tho: Cant one Shill and to my Daughter Mary Drury one Shill and to my Daugher Eliz: Cant one Shill

And as to the rest of my Goods Chattills and Cattills and Personall estate what soe ever I give and bequeath to my well beloved Sone John Ludlam whome I make my Sole Excecter of this my last will and testament
