In the Name of God Amen I Vincent Nix of Eaton in the County of Leicester Carpenter being sick & infirm in Body but of disposing Mind & memory do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament in manner & Form as followeth
First of all I give & bequeath my Imortal Soul into the Hands of God who gave it Hopin thro’ the Death & Passion of Jesus Christ my Saviour to be joyfully rec’d at my Resurrection and as for my Body I will that it be decently buried in the Parish Churchyard at Eaton aforesaid at the Expences of my Executor hereafter mentioned and as for my worldly & Temporal Goods Cattles & Chattles whatsoever I give & bequeath as followeth
First of all I give & bequeath unto my Cousin Luke Squire one Lamb Hog, also I give to my Brother Joseph Alderman the Sum of one Shilling, also I give to my Brother William Nix the Sum of one Shilling, also I give to my Sister Elizabeth the Wife of William Patchet the Sum of one Shilling my Debts my Legacies being first duely paid & discharged and all my Funeral Expences
Then all the rest of my Goods Cattles & Chattles & Wood & Working Tools & Implements whatsoever I give & bequeath unto Robert Towers making & ordaining him full sole and only Executor of this my last Will & Testament hereby I utterly revoking & renouncing all Former Wills in any wise or in any Case heretofore made by me
In Witness whereof the Testator hath set his hand and seal this twenty first of January in the year of our Lord 1760
