In the Name of God Amen March the Seventeenth day one thousand seven hundred and thirty eight According to the Computeation of the Church of England I Thomas North of Saxleby in the County of Leicester being of perfect memory and remembrance praised be god doe make and ordain This my last will Testament In manner and form following
First I bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my maker Hopeing that through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer to receive free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and as for my Body to be Buryed in Christian Burial at the discretion of my Executors hearafter named
Item I give to my daughter Alice the Sume of five pounds
Item I give to My daughter in Law Ann Hilton the Sume of one Shilling
Item I give to my daughter in Law Elizabeth Hilton the Summe of one Shilling
Item I give to my Daughter in Law Mary Black the Sume of one Shilling
Item All the rest of my Goods and Chattells and personal Estate whatsoever I give unto Dorathy my dearly beloved wife and my Son John North Equally to be divided and Shares a Like upon Condition that they pay all my debts and Legacys and doe make them my Soul Executors of this my last will and testament revokeing all other wills and testaments that hath been by me made
