In the Name of God Amen I William Norwich of Stathorne in the County of Leicester Clerke being weake in Body but of sound and perfect mind and Memory Praised be God for the same doe make and ordeine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following That is to say
First I Comend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator and of Jesus Christ my Redeemer by whose Mercy and Meritt I hope to obteine the Remission of my sinnes and eternall salvation and my Body I Commit to the Earth from whence it was taken to be decently buryed at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named
And for my worldly Estate which the Lord hath been gratiously pleased to blesse me with I dispose thereof as followeth vizt
Imprimis I give to the poore of Stathorne aforesaid Forty shillings to be distributed amongst them by my Executrix as shee shall think fit within One moneth after my decease
Item I give unto all my servants that lyve with mee at the time of my decease Fyve shillings a peece to be respectively paid to them within One moneth after my decease
All the rest of my Goods Cattell Chattells money Jewells Plate houshold stuff and personal Estate whatsoever I doe give unto my deare and loving wife Anne Norwich whome I doe make Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
In witnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the Eighth day of October In the Fyve and Twentyth yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord King Charles the Second over England &c Annoq Dni 1673
