In the name of God, Amen I Thomas Parker Clerk Rector of Saxalby in the County of Leicester do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament as followeth
In the first place I commend my Soul to Almighty God, & my Body I commit to the Earth
Next I do give & bequeath to my dear Sister Sarah Platts the sum of forty Pounds to be paid her within twelve months after my decease
And all the rest of my Effects, Money, Plate, houshold Goods, Chattels, Rights, & Credits whatsoever I give & bequeath unto my dear & loving Wife, whom I hereby nominate & appoint sole Executrix of this my last Will & Testament revoking, disannulling, & making void all former wills by me made, & declaring This only to be my last will & Testament
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand & Seal this twenty second Day of July in the year of our Lord Christ 1763
