In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Shelton of Chadwell in the County of Leicester Frame-work-knitter being of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following
Imprimis I give my Soul to Almighty God and my Body to the earth I commit to be decently Buried at the Charge and discretion of my Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereafter mentioned and as for such personal Estate which God hath been pleased to bless me with I give and bequeath the same as followeth viz
I give & bequeath unto my Daughter Ann Shelton the sum of the one Hundred and five pounds
Item I give unto my Daughter Elizabeth Roberts one Shilling
Item I give unto my Daughter Mary Mason the sum of one Shilling
Item I give unto my Daughter Frances Adams the sum of one Shilling
All which Legacies are to be paid by me Executor & Executrix in twelve months after my decease
All the rest and residue of my goods Cattle Chattels and personal Estate I give and bequeath the same unto my Son William Shelton and my Wife Elizabeth Shelton and I do hereby Nominate & appoint my said Son William and Wife Elizabeth my full Executor & Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made either by word or in writing and this only to be my last
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Seventeenth day of July one thousand seven Hundred and Seventy
