To all xian people to whom this present writinge shall come, Robt Sympson of Eaton in the Countye of Leicester, yeoman, sendeth greeting
Know yee that I the sayd Robt Sympson of the Love and affection that I beare unto Susan my welbeloved wife and Robt Sympson Faustyne [?] Sympson, Susan Sympson, Ellen Sympson and Alice my grand children: have given and graunted Bargained & sould and by these presents do give & graunt Bargaine & sell unto Susan my welbeloved wife Robt Sympson, Faustyne [?] Sympson, Susan Sympson Ellen Sympson & Alice Sympson my grand children all my goods and chattles Corne and cattell, and all my personall estate whatsoever in the Realme of England To hould to them & their Assignes From henceforth as their proper goods & chattles for ever
Nevertheless uppon Trust & Confidence that my sayd welbeloved wife Susan Sympson shall have the Sole use benefitt & disposal of all & singular my goods & chattles & personall estate whatsoeover during her natural life to educate and bring upp such of my grand children herein named as shall stand in need of her helpe: and afterwards at her death, or at any tyme uppon Marriadge or prefermt [?] of any of my grandchildren, to divide and give any of my personall estate above graunted to them or any of them as shee shall thinke fit
