In the name of god Amen I Elizabeth Slater of Eaton in the Countie of Leic wid: being sick in bodie but whole in mind & of good & perfect memorie thankes be given unto god doe make & ordaine this my last will and testament in manner & forme followinge
First I bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmightie [“God” missing] my maker hopeing to be saved by the death and passion of Jesus Christ my redeemer & by noe other meanes & my bodie to the earth from whence it came, & to be buried in the Church yeard of Eaton aforesaid
It I give unto Marie Spick my daughter 3s4d & one Russet Coate & a hat in full satisfaction of her porcon & Childs parte
Item I give unto John Slater my grandchild one Ewe to be put forth to his use by my Executor and three shillings foure pence
All the rest of my goods & Cattell togather with the lease of my house I give unto Nicholas Slater my sonne whom I make full & sole Executor of this my last will and testament Provided that the said Nicholas my sonne shall neither set, let, nor sell the reversion of the said Lease but shall keepe it to his owne proper use to occupie & dwell upon
In witnesse whereof I have set to my hand the daye & yeare first above written in the presence of Thomas Yarwood & John Crosse whom I make supervisors of this my last will & testgament
