This is the last will and Testament of Mr John Stableford of Ab Kettleby in the County of Leicester Labourer
I desire that all my Just debts & Funeral Expences may be paid
First I give and bequeath unto my Sister Elizabeth the Sum of Five Pounds
Unto my Sister Mary the Sum of Five Pounds
Unto my Sister Sarah the Sum of Five Pounds
Unto my Sister Ann the Sum of Five Pounds
I leave in Trust Richard Newton of Welby and Willm Cross of Ab Kettleby
All the remainder part of my Goods, Chattles, Cattle, Bonds, Notes, Wheresoever or Whensoever I give and bequeath unto my Father Edward Stableford: but providing that the said Edward Stableford doth die before a Year and a Day is Expired I desire His part of the property To be equally divided amongst my four Sisters
As settled by us this third Day of July in the Year of our Lord One thousand, Seven Hundred and Ninety Eight
