This is the last Will and Testament of Me Sarah Stokes of Goadby Marwood in the county of Leicester widow
I give to my son Thomas Stokes the sum of Ten pounds my eight day Clock one Silver Spoon Four Chairs my Chest Three Shirts Six yards of Linen my best wool Bed best Bed quilt my common Looking Glass and my Shawl
I give to my daughter Elizabeth Sumner a wool bed a pair of Silver Spoons Best Looking Glass And my best Cloak [?]
I give to my daughter Sarah a Silver Cream Jug Feather bed and hangings
I also give to my son Thomas Stokes Three Silk Handkerchiefs
I give to Elizabeth Sumner my Silver Cup and a Stand
I give to my daughter Sarah a Pembroke Table Six Silver Spoons
I give to my daughter Elizabeth Sumner my Oak Drawers
I give to my brother Robert Barlow my Silver Salts on condition that he pays the value of them to my son Thomas Stokes otherwise I give the said Silver Salts to my son Thomas Stokes
As to the Rest and Residue of my personal Estate and Effects I give to my two daughters Elizabeth and Sarah to be equally divided between them
I nominate and appoint John Goodwin of Goadby Marwood aforesaid gentleman Executor of this my Will
In witness whereof I here unto set my hand and Seal this seventeenth day of March One thousand eight hundred and forty five
