John Tinsley of Hose 1678 Will

In the name of God Amen I John Tinsley of Hose in the County of Leicester Singleman being weake in body but of perfect memory (praysed be God) doe ordaine and make this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following
Imprimis I commit my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator and Redeemer and my body to bee decently buried by mine executor hereafter menconed
Itm I give and bequeath my house and Land in Hose parish aforesaid after my decease unto William Chamberlyne of Hose aforesaid and to Anne his now wife for and dureing their … naturall lives and the life of the longer liver of them And from and after their Deceases then to use of William Chamberlyne the younger of Hose aforesaid his heires and Assignes for ever he paying such legacies and at such times as I shall hereafter in this my will and Testament give and bequeath And for default of the issue of him the said Wm Chamberlyne the younger The to the use of Anne Chamberlyne the younger and Izabel Chamberlyne and their heires for ever
It I give to Mary Mathewes four pounds to be paid within one yeare next after my decease
It I give unto Anne Chamberlyne the younger five pounds to be paid within one yeare next after my decease
It I give unto Izabel Chamberlyne five pounds to be paid within one yeare next after my decease
It I give to three children of Elizabeth Wilford my Sister to bee paid when then shall accomplish there severall ages of one and twenty yeares three pounds to bee equally divided amongst them And to John Wilford and Elizabeth his wife to each of them sixe pence
Itm I give unto Robert Wilsons three children twenty shillings to each of them to be paid when they shall accomplish their severall ages of twenty and one yeares and to Robert Wilson sixe pence
It I give unto John Chamberlyne sonne of John Chamberlyne departed five pounds to bee paid when hee shall accomplish the age of one and twenty yeares
It I give unto Wm Chamberlyne and Anne one cow the great brass pann, the great brass pott the cupboard in the house the bedstead in the Parlour The Table and forme in the parlour the Chest in the Chamber and it is my will that the goods which I have given to the above said Wm and Anne shall after their two deceases remayne to Anne Chamberlyne the younger and Izabel her sister
It I give to the poore of Hose parish five shillings, to George Mathewes six pence, to John Chamberlynes wife vid
Lastly All the rest of my goods and chattels unbequeathed I give and bequeath unto William Chamberlyne the younger aforesaid whom I make Executor of this my Last will and Testament hee paying all the above said Legacies and discharging my funerall expence
