In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Tuffin of Normanton in the Parish of Plumtree in the County of Nottingham Spinster being of sound Mind and Memory do make & ordain this my last Will and Testament in Manner and Form following
And first I recommend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God and my Body to the Earth to be decently buried by my Executrix herein after named
Imprimis I will that all my Debts and Funeral Charges be paid and discharged by my Executrix
My Will is I do give grant and confirm unto Ann Tuffin my Sister of Normanton Spinster in the County aforesd All and singular my Goods Chattels Houshold Stuff and all other my Substance whatsoever in whose Hands Custody and Possession or Keeping soever the same are or can or may be found To have and to hold all whatsoever of me the said Elizabeth Tuffin do give unto the said Ann Tuffin my Sister and my sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament for her Heirs Administrators and Assigns from henceforth to her and their own proper Use and Uses thereof and therewith to do order and dispose at her Will and Pleasure as if her own proper Goods and Chattels freely and peaceably and quietly without any Manner of Lett Trouble or Denial of me the said Elizabeth Tuffin or any other Person or Persons whatsoever of all which Premises I the said Elizabeth Tuffin have made my Sister Ann Tuffin my sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and in full and peaceable Possession by Virtue hereof
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the fourth Day of April in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and sixty nine

This Copy agrees with the Original Will of the said Deceased proved in the Exchequer Court of York being duly compared and examined therewith
Bond, bound William Timm gentleman of Normanton, Henry Cropper gentleman of Loughborough and Joseph Cropper yeoman of Loughborough £600 22 July 1784, condition whereas Elizabeth Tuffin had property in Leicestershire [cover says effects at Scalford] and her sister and executrix survived her but died without executing will, Elizabeth Timm formerly Cole wife of bound William Timm, administratrix of Richard Cole deceased who was residuary legatee of Ann Tuffin and administratrix for the benefit of Richard Cole infant only child of said Richard Cole deceased until he is 21 and also administratrix of Elizabeth Tuffin for the same purpose, to produce inventory and administer estate
