Simon West of Harby 1660 Will

April 14th 1645
In the name of God Amen I Simon West thelder of Harby in the County of Leicester yeoman being in perfect memorye praised be God doe ordayne and make this my Last will and testament in manner and foll: viz
Imprimis I commit my soule and body into the hands of God my redeemer and my body to be buried in the Church or Churchyard of Harby aforesaid
It I give unto Jane Hoes my daughter one cupboard one bed covering which shee now hath
It I give to John West mine eldest Sonne one shilling
It I give my Sonne Willm Hoes twelve pence
It I give to my Sonne Mathew five pounds to be paid within one whole yeare next after my decease
It I give unto my Sonne William West the summe of forty pounds to be paid in manner and foll viz five pounds to be paid at or upon the foure and twentieth day of June next coming year the date above written and thirty and five pounds to be paid within one whole yeare next after the decease of mee the said Simon
Also I give unto my said sonne William one incalved cow with two yeareling calves also all the household goods in the house parlor and chamber and buttry except one bed standing in the Parlour with all the furniture whatsoever upon the same bed and one bedstead in the old chamber and all the barrells
It I give all the rest of my goods Cattells and chattells whatsoever or wheresoever not herein before mentioned to my Sonne Thomas West whom I make sole executor of this my Last will and testament my legacies and debts being first paid and discharged
In witness whereof I have hereunto set mine hand and seal the day and yeare first above written
