This is the last Will and Testament of me Arabella Whittle of Stathern in the County of Leicester Widow
I direct all my just debts funeral and Testament expences to be fully paid
I Give and bequeath All the residue of my personal property whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind and quality soever the same may be (after payment of my debts, legacies, and funeral expences) unto my Niece Martha Knott wife of Robert Knott of Burton near Melton Mowbray, Grazier
Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew John Payne of Burton near Melton Mowbray Grazier the sum of Ten Pounds
Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Mary Brown wife of Francis Brown of Wymondham Labourer the like sum of Ten Pounds
Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Elizabeth Goodman wife of Matthew Goodman of Kibworth Servant the like sum of Ten Pounds
And I do hereby appoint my two trusty friends Edward Whittle of Melton Mowbray butcher and John Cobley of Stathern Farmer Executors of this my Last Will and Testament
Also I will ordain that the Executors of this my last Will for and towards the performance of my said Testament shall with all convenient speed after my decease Collect and receive all rents Interests and money due to me
And after paying all my debts other expences the Legacies before mentioned the remaining part of my property to be paid to my Niece Martha Knott
And also if my property do not amount to forty pounds after payment of my debts and other expences at my decease my Will is for the remaining part of my property to be equally divided amongst my Nephew and Nieces as before Mentioned, Namely, John Payne, Mary Brown, Elizabeth Goodman, and Martha Knott
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Tenth day of July in the year of our Lord, One thousand eight hundred and thirty Five

Edward Whittle of Melton Mowbray in the county of Leicester Butcher and John Cobley of Stathern in the same County Farmer the executors in the will named were duly Sworn to the truth and faithful performance thereof as usual and that the Goods chattels and credits of the deceased do not amount in value to the sum of fifty Pounds and that the Deceased died on the fourth day of April last past
